Local Events

Local Events is a curated shortlist of in-person opportunities worth your brand showing up to. Each event comes researched, with fit notes and a transparent cost picture, and you can reserve a spot and follow its progress without leaving the hub.

A shortlist, not a firehose

Rather than a raw listing of everything happening nearby, the module keeps a researched shortlist of events that make sense for your brand.

  • Priority levels (High, Strong, Worth a look, Flag) put the best opportunities first; a Flag carries a written heads-up about the concern.
  • Fit notes explain why each event suits your brand and audience.
  • A filter switches between the primary shortlist, backup options and the full list.
  • Two views: a monthly calendar, and a sortable list with dates, locations and costs.

Details you can verify

Every event states what we know and how sure we are, so you never plan around a guess.

  • Dates carry a confidence badge: confirmed by the organizer, likely based on the event's usual pattern, or approximate.
  • Audience, estimated attendance, booth type and application deadlines sit in one view.
  • A direct link to the organizer's page lets you check the source yourself.

Transparent costs

The total is broken into line items, host fee, booth and gear, staffing and service fee, so you can see where the number comes from. Every figure is labeled by how it was sourced.

  • Verified: figures confirmed with the organizer.
  • Estimated: our researched figure, backed by a written guarantee that limits what you pay if actual costs run over.
  • Quote required: you reserve with a deposit covering the fixed parts, and the host fee is confirmed with you once the quote arrives.

Reserving and tracking

  1. 1

Open the event and review the breakdown

The detail view shows dates, fit, any warnings and the full cost picture before you commit.

  2. 2

    Reserve and pay

Select reserve to pay through a secure checkout; the amount matches the breakdown on screen.

  3. 3

    Track it in Reservations

Each reservation moves through clear statuses, from paid through applied to confirmed, and any cost adjustment appears with a note explaining it.

What does a Flag priority mean?

The event is worth knowing about but carries a concern, and the card states exactly what it is, so you can weigh it before reserving.

What happens after I reserve?

The team handles the application and logistics with the organizer. Your reservation status updates as things move, and you can follow it on the Reservations page.

What if the real cost differs from the estimate?

Estimated events carry a written guarantee shown on the event itself. If the final figure differs, the adjustment appears on your reservation with a note explaining why.
