Chat

Chat is the fastest way to reach the PCD team. Messages arrive in real time, and the same conversation follows you across the web hub and the hub iOS app.

Your team room

Every team has its own chat room shared with the PCD team. Open Chat from your hub navigation and type. There is no separate messenger to install for the web, and no waiting for an email reply.

Write in Korean or English, whichever is comfortable. Any message can be translated in place with one tap, so a mixed-language conversation stays easy to follow for everyone.

Message features

  • Replies: quote a specific message so the answer stays attached to its question.
  • Reactions: acknowledge a message with an emoji reaction instead of typing a reply.
  • Pins: pin important messages, like a decision or a link, so they are easy to find again.
  • Mentions: type @ to mention a teammate and pull them into the conversation.
  • Translation: translate any message between Korean and English without leaving the chat.

Sharing files and photos

Attach files and photos straight to a message, up to five per message. Images preview inline in the conversation, and documents can be downloaded by anyone in the room. A screenshot in chat often explains an issue faster than a paragraph.

Notifications on every device

When the PCD team replies, you are notified on the web hub and by push notification on the hub iOS app. Send a message from your desk, step out, and pick the reply up from your phone. The conversation is one continuous thread.

When chat is the right tool

Chat is best for quick, time-sensitive back and forth. For questions you want answered and kept on record, use the support center. For new work requests, open a ticket, or simply describe what you need in chat and we will log the ticket for you.

Do I have to write in English?

No. Korean and English are both fine. Built-in translation lets each side read the conversation in their own language.

Will I miss messages if I am away from my desk?

No. The hub iOS app delivers push notifications for new messages, and unread messages are waiting when you next open the hub on any device.

Is chat the right place for a formal request?

Chat is a fine starting point. Describe what you need and we will open a ticket so the request gets a reference number and tracked status. That way nothing agreed in conversation gets lost.
