Business Pulse
Business Pulse is the page you open every morning: today’s sales, how the week is going, what cash is on the way, and what deserves attention, all read directly from your connected store.
The daily numbers
The top of the page answers "how are we doing" in four cards, followed by a day-by-day revenue chart for the last two weeks. When something changes sharply, an alert strip calls it out in plain language.
- Today: revenue and order count so far.
- Last 7 days: revenue with the change versus the week before.
- Projected month: where the month is heading based on the pace so far.
- Average order value over the last 30 days.
Cash flow and deposits
A cash-flow card projects the next 30 days from your recent sales pace, clearly labeled as an estimate. When payout data is connected, a settlement section shows the next deposit date and amount, what is still in transit, fees, and a table of recent payouts, so the number that actually lands in the bank stops being a surprise.
Customers, regulars, and best sellers
- New vs returning: how much of the last 30 days came from first-time buyers versus repeat customers, with the repeat rate.
- Sales by channel: which sales channels the revenue actually comes through.
- Best sellers: the top products of the last 30 days by units and revenue.
- Regulars: your repeat-customer base over recent months, their typical reorder cadence, and who has gone quiet, so a win-back nudge can go out before they lapse for good.
Insights and benchmarks
An AI insight card reads the same data and turns it into a short headline, a few observations, and one suggested action. A peer benchmark compares your repeat rate, growth, and daily orders against similar stores using anonymized aggregates only; individual stores are never shown. Some of these advanced cards belong to higher Pulse plans and appear with a clear unlock note until then.
Supported connections
Pulse reads orders from a connected Shopify store. Businesses on Square, such as restaurants and counter-service shops, get a Pulse view built for that world, with sales split across in-store, pickup, delivery, and catering, fed by the same Square connection.
Are the projections guaranteed?
No. The month projection and the 30-day cash-flow number are estimates based on your recent sales pace, and the page labels them that way. They are for planning, not accounting.
Can other businesses see my numbers in the benchmark?
No. Benchmarks use anonymized cohort aggregates only. No store, including yours, is ever shown individually to anyone else.
What shows before orders come in?
Before a store is connected, Pulse explains what will appear once it is. After connection but before orders arrive, it waits with a clear empty state instead of showing zeros everywhere.
